Introvert? Extrovert? Ambivert??

I got to thinking about introverts after reading a post by Viel on her WordPress blog…

(… this week.

If you’ve pondered introverts and extroverts and the different ways individuals and groups react to each, you’d really enjoy Viel’s post.

Is there such a thing as an ‘ambivert’? Can introversion and extroversion be situational?

A good friend recommended that I look into Susan Cain’s book, Quiet, which talks about how introverts function—and the power they world—in a world that seems to value the opposite. I went to the library and got a copy.

I carried it to lunch with another friend, who said, “Interesting. But why are YOU reading it?”

It makes me examine where I fall on the “—version” spectrum. Fascinating pondering—how about you??? Where do you land?

Susan Cain’s TED talk on the topic can be accessed via the link below.;_ylt=A0LEV0gmeSVUq00AyppXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTB0czljNXQ3BHNlYwNzYwRjb2xvA2JmMQR2dGlkA1NNRTU4OV8x?p=susan+cain+ted+talk
